I found this completely by accident, and what a find! It is impossible to pigeonhole this band as their music is high art that eclipses the usual labels. Comparison to Earth has been made, due to the use of lap steel, but where Earth produce a high pitched twang, HtW are much more expressive, creating rich moodscapes and mindscapes which meld perfectly with the intelligent lyrics, exploring existential and metaphysical themes. It made me think of Darren Aronofsky’s 1998 Kabbalistic film Pi.
